7 Hospitality Management (7H) have been appointed as the hotel management company for Ardoe House Hotel, Aberdeen.
An exciting addition for the fast-growing Scottish based hotel management company led by Managing Director, Richard Ellison, formerly of Gleneagles and Old Course Hotel, St Andrews.
The 120-bed luxury hotel – owned by Malaysian businessmen Wai Hin Choy and Wai Ceong Choy – will welcome guests back from Monday June 14, with its former manager, Chris Hodgens, reprising his role there.
Hugely popular for weddings, private events and leisure breaks Ardoe House and its grounds are to undergo a two-phase redevelopment, starting with investment in infrastructure.
Head of Brand and Marketing, Conner Harvey commented:
‘It has been an incredibly difficult year for the tourism and hospitality sector and we are thrilled to be bringing Ardoe House Hotel & Spa back to life. Ardoe House is a great addition to our hotel family, and we’re delighted to add this destination venue to the mix. The owners have great plans for the hotel which we will be delighted to assist with and implement.’
Hotel Manager Chris Hodgens said:
‘The hotel is the subject of much affection, both locally and much further afield – and it goes without saying that we are delighted to be re-opening. With our first tour operator arriving later this month and a major conference taking place within the hotel in August, we look forward to showcasing the hotel in the light its best known for.’
